Account Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a new teammate for our Marketing and Account Management team! The Marketing team works directly with our 130+ outdoor brand partners - like Black Diamond, Dynafit, Big Agnes, and Arc’teryx to name a few - to drive their pro channel strategies on Outdoor Prolink, market their products to Outdoor Prolink members, and grow awareness of their brand and products in the professional community and beyond. Our Account Managers are looking for an uber organized and highly motivated people-person to support them in these efforts.

Employment type: full-time, salary, hybrid remote schedule
Salary: Starting at $45,000 per year
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Responsibilities

  • Daily email correspondence with brand accounts to assist Account Managers in addressing client questions and solving issues
  • Monthly outreach to brand accounts to gather pricing and product information for special promotions, collect marketing assets for campaigns, source gear for our gear review program and more
  • Support Account Managers in organizing monthly marketing activities and campaign calendar across all accounts
  • Maintain detailed status notes and strategic plan details for all accounts
  • Act as Account Manager for a subset of small-but-mighty brand accounts
  • Leverage PowerBI to monitor account sales performance and share insights with Account Managers, CEO and CMO on a regular basis
  • Manage brand storefront pages to ensure that all content is seasonally appropriate and up-to-date. Make seasonal updates to brand imagery and storefront content. Collaborate with E-Commerce Manager to make strategic adjustments to storefronts that drive sales results.
  • Audit brand product catalogs and assist in merchandising improvements on Outdoor Prolink, including writing product descriptions, sourcing product content like videos and imagery, and copy-editing
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Development team, Operations team and Customer Service team to assist in onboarding of new brand accounts
  • Maintain accurate database of client information in our customer relationship management tool, SugarCRM
  • Monthly data entry for account activities in SugarCRM
  • Manage account agreements in Docusign and SugarCRM
  • General day-to-day support of Account Management and Marketing team

The Account Operations Associate will be running support for over 100 different outdoor brands, so it will be critical they are able to juggle tasks while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and verbal communication skills - Our brand partners are some of our favorite people to have a beer with or ride a chairlift with. To succeed in this role, you’ve gotta be a people-person who thrives at developing and maintaining relationships with clients. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in account management, marketing, sales or administrative role
  • Experience with HTML and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) are preferred but not required
  • Experience organizing and effectively executing administrative tasks
  • Excellent computer literacy with programs like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail, Zoom and CRM tools
  • Ability to work in the Outdoor Prolink office at least two days per week
  • A background working in the outdoors or in the outdoor industry and/or general understanding and interest in outdoor gear.

Email Marketing Specialist | Account Manager

We are seeking a new teammate for our Marketing and Account Management team! The Marketing team works directly with our 130+ outdoor brand partners - like Black Diamond, Dynafit, Big Agnes, and Arc’teryx to name a few - to drive their pro channel strategies on Outdoor Prolink, market their products to Outdoor Prolink members, and grow awareness of their brand and products in the professional community and beyond. Everyone on the Outdoor Prolink Marketing team wears multiple hats - we are a small but scrappy! - and we are looking for a new teammate to wear two hats: email marketing and account management. This role will be about 50% email marketing and 50% account management. We are looking for an outdoor lover who has some email marketing and graphic design chops and who also loves building relationships and crafting marketing strategy for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Email Campaign Planning - Collaborate with Account Managers to create an email marketing calendar for Outdoor Prolink brands with the goal of driving e-commerce sales. Create a segmentation and personalization strategy to highlight different brand verticals, seasons and product categories.
  • Email Design - Utilize Photoshop and Klaviyo to design beautiful, effective email campaigns. Write engaging, informative and fun email copy. Measure email performance metrics like open rate, click rate, order placed rate etc. to refine content and strategy.
  • Email List Management - Maintain preference center in Klaviyo. Segment email list to increase engagement metrics and improve deliverability metrics.
  • Marketing Automation - Manage all email automation flows and transactional emails in Klaviyo and Sendgrid. Maintain and update content in flows and transactional emails. Measure performance and make changes to improve results. Monthly meetings with Klaviyo account manager to drive automation strategy and execution. Collaborate with Development team to maintain email integration with Outdoor Prolink data and champion new email and automation features.
  • Brand Account Management - Provide support to select brand accounts and drive sales growth through pro channel marketing strategies. Collaborate with Account Operations Associate, other Account Managers, Development, Operations, Customer Service and Data Management to provide a stellar customer experience for all Outdoor Prolink brands.
  • Leverage PowerBI to monitor account sales performance and uncover opportunities to drive sales.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an email marketing, graphic design, digital marketing or marketing automation role
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design. Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and other modern graphic design and web design software.
  • Experience with modern email marketing tools like Klaviyo and Sendgrid
  • Experience with PowerBI, Google Analytics, or other reporting/analytics software
  • Ability to work in the Outdoor Prolink office at least two days per week
